Setting Selective Control Valve for (55-60 Series Row Crop Tractors)NOTE: For non John Deere tractors, see dealer for hook-up. To operate the vacuum system, vacuum pressure hose must be equipped with an in-line flow control valve to adjust vacuum level and tractor SCV lever must have a lever stop installed. See your John Deere dealer. To operate the CCS system, tractor SCV lever must be equipped with a lever lock clip to maintain constant oil flow. See your John Deere dealer. Position tractor flow control valve (A) to fast (RABBIT) setting on SCV's used for vacuum, CCS, and variable rate drive. Vacuum level is controlled with in-line flow control valve. CCS flow control valve (B) will be used to control tank pressure. SEEDSTAR ™ system will control variable rate drive. Adjust flow control valve (A) for independent markers to middle position and adjust as needed in the field.
