Adjusting Frame Height-Wing Frame
IMPORTANT:
Perform all frame height adjustments with machine on level ground.
NOTE:
Soil conditions will effect frame height. It is normal for wing wheels to be adjusted differently than the centerframe wheels due to varying attachments and frame configurations.
1.
Fold machine to latch wing frames; raise wing wheels approximately 152 mm (6 in.) off ground. See FOLDING MACHINE in Transporting section.
2.
Position wheel hubs so bottom of wing frame is 510 to 560 mm (20 to 22 in.) above the ground. Location (A) is for normal conditions. Location (B) will raise frame two inches and is used for softer soil conditions.
3.
Tighten wheel hub cap screws to specification after making adjustments.
