CCS Fan and VACUMETER™ Motor (Case) Drain Requirements

IMPORTANT: CCS fan and VACUMETER ™ case drain hose (A) MUST be attached to low-pressure drain connection PRIOR to any hoses being connected. Case drain MUST have LESS THAN 172 kPa (1.72 bar) (25 psi) or fan motor will be damaged.

The hydraulic motors used on the CCS fan and VACUMETER ™ are a low flow, high pressure motors and are designed to operate on a closed-center hydraulic system. If the CCS or VACUMETER ™ system is directly connected to an open-center tractor hydraulic system, the open center fixed displacement pump will send most of the hydraulic oil over the relief valve. This will produce too much heat for most tractor oil coolers to dissipate. Connecting the CCS fan or the VACUMETER ™ to an open-center system is not recommended.
