Raising and Lowering Machine
IMPORTANT:
Case drain hose must be connected or machine damage will result.
IMPORTANT:
Avoid machine damage. Do not place SCV in float position to lower machine. Machine should be powered completely up and down.
NOTE:
Due to the high hydraulic pressure requirements of large machines, the SCV (Selective Control Valve) lever used to raise and lower the machine may not function in the automatic retract or automatic extend position.
Pull back on SCV I to extend lift cylinders and raise machine. Push forward on SCV I to retract lift cylinders and lower machine.
After raising or lowering machine, hold SCV lever for approximately five seconds to be certain machine raises and lowers completely.
Be certain machine is moving forward when raising or lowering in the unfolded position to avoid plugging seed and fertilizer openers.
When raising or lowering machine in the folded position, frame and hitch must be activated simultaneously. This allows the machine to raise or lower evenly, preventing damage to seed and fertilizer openers.
