Leveling Seed in CCS Tanks
Follow chemical manufacturers precautions when handling parts coated with seed treatments. Use proper skin, eye and respiratory protection. When a row unit, low rate warning occurs or a low tank level sensor light comes on, use an 203 mm (8 in.) wide, stiff bristled broom with 1372 mm (4.5 ft) handle to evenly distribute seed in CCS tanks. Also use this brush to level seed after filling CCS tanks, and to periodically clean tank level sensor. |
CAUTION:
Do not open lids when CCS blower is running. Lids and harmful chemicals may be blown into face and seed lines will plug.
