Zeroing Vacuum Gauges

NOTE: To zero SEEDSTAR ® monitor vacuum gauge, see SEEDSTAR ® Seed Monitor and Variable Rate Drive Operator's Manual.

With vacuum pump system shut off and vacuum gauges in a vertical position, disconnect vacuum monitor lines (B) to vent gauges to atmosphere. Use the zero adjusting screws (A) to set the gauge pointers exactly on zero mark. Connect monitor lines (B), activate vacuum pump hydraulics, fill seed-disk cells with seed by driving forward with planter lowered and adjust vacuum level to recommended setting.
