causym CAUTION: Hydraulic hoses can fail due to physical damage, kinks, age and exposure. Check hoses regularly. Replace damaged hoses.

IMPORTANT: Vacuum RETURN hose, with special tip, MUST be connected to tractor EXTEND port. This allows the motor to be shut off by placing SCV lever directly into "float" position, avoiding damaging pressure spikes. This also applies to variable rate drive when connected to an SCV.

NOTE: With two vacuum motors connected to a single tractor SCV, planter flow control valves must be used to control vacuum level.

With vacuum motors connected to separate SCV's, each motor can be controlled by SCV controls in tractor. If controlling vacuum using tractor SCV, orifice must be installed at each vacuum motor INLET.

It is recommended to connect VRD to an SCV if one is available.
