Install Seed Disk

1. Open vacuum meter. See ACCESSING THE VACUUM METER in this section.

2. Fit seed disk into housing (A). Hold seed disk stationary and rotate hub handle (B).

NOTE: Seed disk should turn smoothly with little or light contact between seed disk (A) and meter housing. Seed should not leak around circumference of meter. Disk must lightly contact housing to prevent seed leakage.

3. Proper adjustment is achieved when the seed disk turns approximately 1 turn when the hub is spun rapidly by hand. Check gap between seed disk and meter housing in section (C). If disk turns too hard or if seed leaks through gap, adjust hub position. See ADJUST METER HUB in this section.
