Installing Storage/Service Locks
CAUTION:
Lower machine to ground before working on any hydraulic components or welding.
IMPORTANT:
Storage/service locks are not to be used as transport locks.
When storing or servicing machine, raise machine and install service locks onto both outer main frame wheel cylinders as shown. Install pin and hair pin to hold in place.

When servicing machine in unfolded plant position, raise machine and install service locks on right-hand and left-hand wing wheel cylinders as shown. Install pin and hair pin to hold in place.

When servicing drawbar hitch, install service lock on hitch cylinder. Install pin and hair pin to hold in place.

When storing machine in folded position, install rockshaft service locks. Install pin and hair pin to hold in place.

NOTE:
The rockshaft service locks are longer than the split-row locks. Split-row locks are to be installed when planting 76 cm (30 in.) row spacing.
When planting with 76 cm (30 in.) row spacing, install split-row locks on right-hand and left-hand rockshafts as shown. Install pin and hair pin to hold in place.
