Adjust Frame Height Wing Frame

causym CAUTION: Prevent personal injury. Install service locks on rockshafts when maintenance is performed.

IMPORTANT: Perform all frame height adjustments with machine on level ground.

Center frame wheel pairs must be adjusted to the same settings.

NOTE: Adjust frame 510-560 mm (20-22 in.) above the ground. Soil conditions affect frame height. Wing wheels are adjusted differently than the center frame wheels due to varying attachments and frame configurations.

1. Fold machine. See FOLD MACHINE in Transport section.

2. Position wheel hubs as follows:

  • Remove wheel hub bolt.
  • Install hub in location (A) for normal conditions.
  • Install hub in location (B) to raise frame two inches.
  • Install hub in location (C) to lower frame two inches.

3. Tighten wheel hub cap screws to specification after making adjustments.

Specification

Wing Wheel Cap Screws -Torque 447 N·m (330 lb-ft)

4. Repeat for adjacent wheel.
