Adjusting Tractor Drawbar-32R15 And 24R15 With Drawbar Hitch Only
When planting on 38 cm (15 in.) rows, tractor drawbar must be positioned so hitch pin hole is right-of-center 191 mm (7.5 in.).
To move hitch, proceed as follows:
1.
Remove cap screw (A).
2.
Slide hitch (B) to right and reinstall cap screw.
3.
If drawbar is not capable of adjusting the full 191 mm (7.5 in.) right-of-center, do the following:
-
Increase left marker length by the difference in distance.
-
Decrease right marker length by the difference in distance.
-
See ADJUSTING MARKER LENGTH in this section for initial marker adjustment.
-
Example:
The John Deere 8220 tractor drawbar offsets 178 mm (7 in.). Left marker length must be increased 13 mm (1/2 in.) and right marker length must be decreased 13 mm (1/2 in.) to compensate.
