Setting CCS Tank Pressure

To set the tank pressure proceed as follows:

1. Make sure that tank lids are closed.

IMPORTANT: Warm oil by running vacuum blowers (if equipped) or install a hose loop in SCV per tractor operator's manual. DO NOT use CCS fan to warm oil or seed delivery hoses can plug.

2. Warm up tractor oil for 15 minutes.

3. Lower machine, leave SCV in constant retract detent position.

4. Open flow control valve (A) counterclockwise until seed starts flowing to hoppers.

IMPORTANT: Avoid hydraulic motor and tank lid damage. DO NOT exceed 20 in. of tank pressure.

NOTE: Random drops in population that last only short periods (5-20 seconds) can indicate the CCS system is not maintaining adequate seed flow. Increase CCS pressure in 2 inch increments until random population drops stop.

5. When row hoppers are full and machine is not moving, adjust pressure as follows:
