Setting Rockshaft Roller Switch

NOTE: Rockshaft roller switch is mounted underneath the upper main frame tube near the center of right-hand rockshaft wing.

Rockshaft Switch Function Test: Fold machine and raise rockshafts. With rockshaft fully raised try to unfold planter. This action will cause the rockshafts to automatically lower until the rockshaft switch engages and the planter starts to unfold. If the planter starts to unfold with rockshafts fully raised, IMMEDIATELY stop unfolding and re-align rockshaft switch per the following instructions.

Rockshaft Switch Horizontal Alignment: RAISE the entire rockshaft fully. Loosen cap screws (A) and align roller wheel (B) in the center (approximately) of the rockshaft tube keystock (C) as shown. Tighten cap screws.

Rockshaft Switch Vertical Alignment: LOWER the entire rockshaft fully. Loosen cap screws (A) and adjust bracket/switch (B) so that roller (C) just comes in contact with rockshaft tube (D). Tighten cap screws.
