Detach Machine from Tractor

1. Raise hitch enough to lower stands to storage position.

2. Remove spring locking pins (B) and drilled pins (A) and lower hitch stands.

NOTE: Handle of pin (A) is positioned toward tractor.

3. Install drilled pins (A) and spring locking pins (B).

causym CAUTION: Avoid injury from hydraulic oil injection. Relieve hydraulic system pressure before disconnecting hoses.

NOTE: Not necessary to turn off tractor when detaching machine from John Deere Tractors with ISO couplers.

4. Lower machine onto ground or onto service locks. See LOWERING-RAISING MACHINE IN TRANSPORT POSITION FOR FILLING AND-OR SERVICING in Transporting section.

5. TRACTORS WITH ELECTROHYDRAULIC SCVs: Leave engine running.

TRACTORS WITH MECHANICAL SCVs: Stop engine, turn key switch on.

6. Place SCV levers in float position and frame control switch in PLANT position. Place drawbar control switch in HITCH position, if equipped.

7. Depress all remaining frame control switches in both directions.

8. Place frame control switch in TRANS position.

9. Depress all remaining frame control switches in both directions.

10. Turn tractor key switch off.

11. Disconnect all hydraulic hoses (A) and seven pin connector (B). Place hoses and harness into holding bracket as illustrated.

12. Disconnect monitor and frame control harnesses.

13. Disconnect liquid herbicide hoses (if equipped).

14. On Drawbar Hitch Machines: Remove hitch pin.

15. On Two Point Hitch Machines: Raise handles on tractor Quik Tach™ and lower the tractor rockshaft until the Quik Tach™ is below the machine hitch pins.

16. Drive tractor away slowly.
