| aCase drain hose MUST be attached PRIOR to any hose being connected. |
CAUTION:
Hydraulic hoses can fail due to physical damage, kinks, age, and exposure. Check hoses regularly. Replace damaged hoses.
IMPORTANT:
Vacuum and Variable Rate Drive RETURN hoses, with special tip, MUST be connected to tractor EXTEND port. Avoid damaging pressure spikes; shut vacuum motor and variable rate drive off by placing SCV lever in float position.
NOTE:
With two or more vacuum motors connected to a single tractor SCV, planter flow control valves must be used to control vacuum level.
If planter is not equipped with independent markers or vacuum, variable rate drive can be moved from power beyond to an SCV.
