Replace Fertilizer Opener Scrapers

1. Raise machine and install service locks on all lift cylinders.

2. Lower machine onto service locks.

3. Remove cap screw and washer (A) and scraper assembly (B).

4. Remove spacer (A).

5. Note spring (B) mounting hole location on scrapers.

6. Remove spring.

7. Install new scrapers in reverse order of removal.

8. Install spacer (A) exactly as shown.

9. Position assembled scraper assembly on shank and install cap screw and washer (A). Tighten cap screw to specification.

Specification

Scraper Retaining Cap Screw -Torque 35 N·m (26 lb-ft)

10. Raise machine and remove service locks from lift cylinders.
