Monitor Installation

NOTE: The monitor, mounting bracket, and battery connecting lead are packed in the seed hopper.

1. Mount bracket in a readily visible and accessible position on the cab frame to ensure an electrical connection. Connect the power supply to the standard three-pin plug. The monitor must be located at least 1 m (3.27 ft.) away from radio equipment and aerials.

IMPORTANT: If the cab is insulated from the tractor chassis, create a conductive connection between the cab (NOT the bracket!) and the tractor chassis. Use a cable with a cross-section of 2.5 mm 2 (13 AWG).

IMPORTANT: The socket must always be connected to the positive terminal of the battery through a 16-amp fuse in the cable connector on the brown lead. No other appliances can be connected to this socket. The negative terminal of the battery must always be connected to ground (frame, chassis).

2. Connect the supplied 12-volt socket directly to the tractor battery.

Color of leads: Brown is positive 12-volt. Blue is negative ground.

3. Couple the drill to the tractor. Route the connecting lead from the monitor to the controller lead on the hitch. Ensure the lead cannot be damaged when the drill is raised or lowered, or when making turns. Insert the plug on the connecting lead into the monitor.
