Signus and GreenStarâ„¢/ISOBUS

NOTE: Dealers and Service can use a diagnostic appliance to ascertain whether a fault has occurred in the sensors, actuators or monitor.

If the monitor is defective, it must be returned to us for repair or replacement.

Symptom Problem Solution

Monitor displays "HALP00o.88".

Memory error.

Send in the monitor.

The Signus and GreenStar/ISOBUS does not switch ON.

Power failure.

Check terminals on battery and 16-amp fuse.

Power supply connected to wrong poles.

Check polarity.

Total failure.

Send in the unit.

Monitor displays wildly inaccurate values or loses the machine data.

Voltage peaks are causing mistakes in the monitor memory.

Connect the cable provided directly to the battery. Make a conductive connection between monitor bracket and chassis. If necessary, make a conductive connection between cab and chassis.

Loose connection on battery cable.

Run ground cable from controller to drill frame. Press sleeves on plug connection closer together.

Speed does not appear on display.

30-pin power supply plug not connected.

Connect plug to monitor.

No input for "impulses/100m".

Key in a value for "impulses/100m".

Symptom Problem Solution

Wheel sensor not sending any impulses, ring on display does not flash when in motion.

Adjust gap between wheel sensor and bar magnet to 3 mm (0.12 in.) maximum.

South pole of magnet must point to sensor. Check cable and 3-pin plug for damage, and replace if necessary.

Connect cable in controller correctly: brown=+12 volts; black=signal; blue=ground.

Sensor is defective. Replace it.

Area is not being recorded.

No input for "working width".

Key in a value for "working width".

Full-width shut-off is active.

Fan speed does not appear on display.

Fan sensor not sending any impulses.

Adjust gap between fan sensor and cam to 1.5 mm (0.06 in.) maximum. If sensor is defective, replace it.

Connect cable in controller correctly: brown=+12 volts; black=signal; blue=ground.

No acoustic warning when fan speed drops by more than 10%.

No value for nominal speed stored in memory.

Key in a value for nominal fan speed.

Seed meter drive alarm not triggered.

Sensor on sowing shaft not sending any impulses.

Adjust gap between sowing shaft sensor and magnet to 1.5 mm (0.06 in.) maximum. Check chain/drive shaft. If sensor is defective, replace it. Connect cable in controller correctly: green/yellow=signal.

Speed drops below minimum number of sowing shaft impulses.

If this occurs when sowing fine seed at low speed, increase ground speed. This is not a defect.

Symptom Problem Solution

Half-width shut-off not functioning. When key for "r.h. half" is pressed, no triangle appears on display.

Bridge "B" in controller not properly connected.

Connect the bridge properly.

Half-width shut-off not functioning. R.h. seed meter cannot be shut off.

Solenoid valve not functioning.

Replace the solenoid valve.
