Locking In Storage Position

1. To return auger to storage position, reverse the order of operational steps previously described.

2. You need to:

1. Reset swing link lock (A) to engaged, storage position.
2. Release arm position lock pin from hole.

causym CAUTION: Avoid auger damage. Auger storage latch must be properly adjusted to prevent damage/wear to the auger and sling.

3. While moving hopper to the front of the cart, push support arm to frame and position outlet end of conveyance tube between storage posts (A).

IMPORTANT: Plate (B) must be properly inserted in slot (C) when in storage position or machine damage may occur.

4. Insert plate (B) into slot (C).

5. On solid footing, grasp lock handle with both hands, and using your legs for lifting, raise conveyance tube onto latch bracket (F).

causym CAUTION: Avoid roadway collisions. Before transporting, secure conveyor in the storage position.

6. Push lock tube into latch. Make sure lever (B) is in the down position.

7. Insert pin (C), front to rear, through lever (B) and latch bracket (F). Turn pin down behind locking tab (D) as shown and install spring pin (E).

Auger Only

causym CAUTION: Avoid auger damage. Before transporting, place auger hopper in transport position and fully engage the locking pin.

IMPORTANT: To avoid contact with left-hand front tire of a tow-behind cart, hopper must be stored with closed side facing away from cart frame.

1. Release lock pin and rotate hopper so closed side is out, away from cart.

2. Reset pin to hold hopper in transport position.

Conveyor Only

1. Open conveyor cleanout door (A).

2. Place a catch pail under cleanout door (A) and operate conveyor to remove remaining product from conveyor tube.
