aGPM = Gallons-per-minute, Psi = Pounds-per-square inch pressure.

IMPORTANT: The 9000 Series Scraper Tractors are not used with the 1910 Cart and Seeding Tool.

NOTE: Fan speeds are estimate based on average application rates.

To use chart:

1. Find the row that describes the air cart (number of primaries, and single-shoot or double-shoot).

2. On that row is shown the tractor flow and pressure requirement.

3. Also shown on that row is compatibility recommendations for John Deere Tractors.

IMPORTANT: Marginal tractors would perform better at lower rates and lower operating speed.

NOTE: The chart reflects tractor compatibility primarily with regard to hydraulic flow and pressure requirements and tractor capabilities. Certain tractors have the potential to heat hydraulic oil excessively when two or more of the following conditions are present:

  • High oil flow (7 or 8 primaries with a high rate of product).

  • Maximum system pressure (due to active down force system on seeding tool).

  • High ambient temperature.

  • High drawbar load (large tool running deep).

  • Tractor radiator plugged with dust and debris.
