Configure Common Start and Stop Height

Use this procedure to set a single height to start and stop cart meters as the tool raises and lowers.

1. Select primary Menu button >> Air Cart button >> Configuration softkey >> Sensor tab.

2. Select Height from drop-down box.

3. Completely raise tool in field raised position.

4. Select Tool Raised button. Select Enter button.

IMPORTANT: Value must be established at deepest tool depth not seeding depth.

5. Note current setting of depth control then adjust depth control to allow tool to fully lower.

6. Lower tool completely and drive forward under seeding conditions.

7. Select Tool Lowered button. Select Enter button.

8. Select Start and Stop button.

IMPORTANT: Avoid intermittent meter shut down when seeding over uneven ground. Do not set start and stop height too low.

9. From the fully lowered position, raise machine until the desired start and stop height is achieved and select Set Height button. The recommended start and stop height is when openers are at soil surface.

NOTE: Current tool height is displayed on screen as a percentage.

10. To adjust start and stop height slightly after seeding begins, select input box and adjust value in small increments.

11. Select Enter button to save setup.

12. Return tool depth control to original setting.
