Configure Separate Start and Stop Height

Use this procedure to set separate heights to start and stop cart meters as the tool raises and lowers.

1. Select primary Menu button >> Air Cart button >> Configuration softkey >> Sensor tab.

2. Select Height from drop-down box.

3. Completely raise tool in field raised position.

4. Select Tool Raised button. Select Enter button.

IMPORTANT: Value must be established at deepest tool depth not seeding depth. Note current setting then adjust depth control to allow tool to fully lower.

5. Lower tool completely while driving forward under seeding conditions.

6. Select Tool Lowered button. Select Enter button.

7. Select Start and Stop button.

IMPORTANT: Start height must be a larger value than stop height.

8. From the fully lowered position, raise tool until stop height is achieved and select Stop Height button. The recommended stop height is just before openers exit soil.

9. Fully raise machine.

10. From the fully raised position, lower tool until start height is achieved and select Start Height button. The recommended start height is just before openers contact soil.

11. To adjust start and stop height slightly after seeding begins, select input box and adjust value in small increments.

12. Select Enter button.

13. Return tool depth control to original setting.
