Repair Walking Wheels
CAUTION:

Always be aware of area while working under machine. Wear close fitting clothing and safety equipment appropriate to the job.
CAUTION:
Walking beam swings up from weight of one wheel when other wheel is removed. Verify walking beam is flat against wood block before removing tire. Always stay away from possible swing and pinch point areas when removing tire.
1.
Use a properly sized jack to raise frame enough to reduce weight on wheels. Loosen wheel bolts on wheel being removed.
2.
Raise walking wheels off ground.
NOTE:
Wood block must be tall enough to allow ground clearance to mount new tire.
3.
Walking Wheels:
Place wood block (A) under walking beam (B) of wheel (C) remaining on machine. This prevents wheel from dropping suddenly and other end of walking beam from rising suddenly when wheel (D) is removed.
CAUTION:
Trying to adjust block while lowering wheels can cause serious injury to you or others. Always keep people clear of wheels when lowering frame.
4.
Lower frame until walking beam rests on wood block.
