Rows must be turned ON for a warning to occur. (See Turn
Rows On and Off in this section).
When the monitor detects any row sensor with seed population
counts over the high limit, the monitor displays HI WARN, sounds an
alarm, and shows the row number giving the reading. The alarm sounds
every 1/500th of a hectare (1/200th of an acre), that the row covers,
as long as the population is out of range. When setting high population
limits, add 50 percent to desired population for the starting value.
When actual planting population is displayed, the HI WARN limit can
be changed to a closer tolerance. The closer the tolerance is set
to actual population, the more frequently the alarm sounds.
When planting volume metered or small seeds, kg/ha (lb/acre)
values must be converted into seeds/ha (acre) values for monitor entry.
Refer to planting rate chart information in operator's manual for
average number of seeds/kg (lb). To determine average seeds/ha (acre),
multiply average seeds/kg (lb) by kg/ha (lb/acre) rate.
-
Press SETUP SELECT switch (A) until display shows HI WARN in

033.0 represents a 33 000 population limit.
Press DIGIT SELECT switch (B) until triangle is below the number
to change.
-
Touch 0-9 switch (C) until the target number is displayed.
