7000 Series Tractors—Radar and Bracket Installation

  1. Remove tool box.

    A - M16 x 35 mm Flange Head Screw (2 used)

    Install planter radar bracket to side frame with M16 x 35 mm flange head screws (A).



  3. IMPORTANT: Radar must be mounted with serial number tag facing up.

    A - Seam

    B - 1/4 x 4 in. Cap Screw (4 used)

    C - Bracket Holes

    Install radar plastic body with seam (A) against bracket using 1/4 x 4 in. cap screws (B) and four 9/32 x 5/8 x 0.060 in. washers. Make certain washers are located between plastic radar body and bracket.



  4. Tighten cap screws securely but do NOT overtighten.

  5. NOTE: DO NOT let harness hang in front of radar white eye.

    Route connector behind starter.

  6. Coil excess harness under bracket and attach to unused bracket holes (C) with tie bands.

  7. Install tool box.

  8. Remove cab floor mat and panel.

    A - Signal Harness

    Connect radar signal harness (A) to tractor harness at fuel gauge sender.

    Route harness (A) along air conditioner lines and behind starter as shown.



  11. Attach harness to lines with tie straps (B).

  12. CAUTION: Prevent possible eye damage from microwave signal emitted from radar sensor. Avoid looking directly into the sensor face of radar.

    NOTE: Once radar is connected to tractor harness, radar supplies tractor instrumentation and radar signal is available for monitor from 2-pin connector at right-hand console.

    Connect signal harness to radar harness at (C).
