8000 Series Tractors—Console Installation

1.

   A - Front Right Corner Post

   Remove plastic covers from front right corner post (A).

   A - L-bracket

   B - M10 x 20 mm Cap Screw (2 used)

   C - Flat Washer

   D - Monitor Strap

   E - Wing Nut

   Position L-bracket (A) on front right corner post and install one M10 x 20 mm cap screw (B) in top hole of bracket.

3. Install second M10 x 20 mm cap screw (B) with flat washer (C) in lower hole of bracket.

4. Position monitor strap (D) on L-bracket and attach using M10 x 30 mm carriage bolt and wing nut (E).

   B - Excess Harness

   Mount monitor (A) to strap as illustrated.

6. Coil excess harness (B) around strap.

7. Route monitor harness along right window and behind instrument panel.

   A - Grommet

   Remove existing right-hand grommet. Install harness in supplied grommet.

9. Install grommet (A).

    A - Holes

    Cut holes (A) in decal.

    Remove two cap screws attaching 7-pin connector. Discard cap screws.

    A - Spade Sockets

    B - M8 x 55 mm Cap Screw (2 used)

    C - Spacer

    D - 7-Pin Connector

    E - Plastic Connector

    Install spade sockets (A) with M8 x 16 mm carriage bolts, flat washers, and nuts. Do not tighten until all hardware is in place.

13. Install M8 x 55 mm cap screws (B), spacer (C), and 7-pin connector (D) with flat washers against connector plastic (E) and nuts.

14. Tighten all hardware.

    A - Self-tapping Screw (4 used)

    Attach monitor harness to spade using self-tapping screws (A).

    Install spade (A) into spade socket. Push down to seat.

    Harness can be installed in rear outlet.

    Install monitor power harness (A) into front convenience outlet (if equipped).

18. Route harness under floor mat.

19. Tie excess main and power harness to monitor strap using tie bands.

    Route harness (A) along air conditioner lines and behind starter.

21. Attach harness to lines using tie bands (B).

22. CAUTION: Prevent possible eye damage from microwave signal emitted from radar sensor. Avoid looking directly into the sensor face of radar.

    NOTE: Once radar is connected to tractor harness, radar supplies tractor instrumentation and radar signal is available for monitor from 2-pin connector at right-hand console.

    Connect signal harness to radar harness at (C).
