Fold 8-Row Narrow-Wide, 12-Row Narrow Planter

IMPORTANT: Machines equipped with liquid fertilizer, DO NOT lower machine with wings folded. Unfold machine before lowering machine to ground. Failure to do so could result in damage to inside planting units on wing section.

NOTE: If valve handle is difficult to operate, use "Float" position on tractor hydraulic control to lower planter.

IMPORTANT: Marker shutoff valve (C) must be "Closed" when wings are being folded, during unfolded transport, or when planter is being serviced to prevent marker movement. The marker shut off valve must be 'Open" during field operation when marker operation is desired.

1. Close marker valve (C), if equipped.

2. Lower planter on level firm terrain.

IMPORTANT: Flex machines only, install turnbuckle for folded transport only. Structural damage can occur when turnbuckle is installed during normal operation.

3. (Flex Model Only) Install turnbuckle (A).

4. Move planter valve (B), if equipped, to "Transport" position to lock the wing wheels in retracted position.

5. Push in selector valve (D), if equipped, to select wing fold.

7. Fully raise planter.

8. Fold wings until latched at (B).
