1. Support machine safely. (See procedure at the beginning of this section.)

causym CAUTION: Disk blades are sharp. Wear protective gloves and handle disks carefully.

2. Remove one opener blade assembly (A).

3. Remove fertilizer supply hose from tube (B).

4. Remove cap screw (A).

5. Pull tube (B) down out of hole in shank (C).

6. Install replacement tube in reverse order and tighten cap screw (A) to specification.

Fertilizer Tube Retaining Cap Screw -Torque

35 N·m

(26 lb.-ft.)

7. Install disk blade and tighten blade retaining nut to specification.

Blade Retaining Nut -Torque

122 N·m

(90 lb.-ft.)

8. Remove support components.
