Replace Fertilizer Opener Scrapers

1. Support machine safely. (See procedure at the beginning of this section.)

2. Remove cap screw and washer (A) and scraper assembly (B).

3. Remove spacer (A).

4. Note spring (B) mounting hole location on scrapers.

5. Remove spring.

6. Install new scrapers in reverse order of removal.

7. Install spacer (A) exactly as shown.

8. Position assembled scraper assembly on shank and install cap screw and washer (A). Tighten cap screw to specification.

Specification

Scraper Retaining Cap Screw -Torque 35 N·m (26 lb.-ft.)

9. Remove support components.
