Unit Down Force Springs

NOTE: If machine is configured with 38 cm (15 in.) row spacing, springs must be mounted on inside of parallel arms.

The unit down force springs transfer weight from main frame to planting unit to increase opener penetration and help to minimize bounce in rough soil conditions.

Springs are non-adjustable with 40 kg (90 lb) of down force when parallel arms are in horizontal position. Two sets per row may be used for 80 kg (180 lb) of down force.
