Periodically check that machine planting units (B) and parallel arms (A) are running level. Lower machine to planting position with bottom of main frame tube approximately 510 to 560 mm (20 to 22 in.) above ground. Parallel arms (A) should be parallel to ground or slightly up hill towards the planter frame. Position tractor drawbar or clevis so machine hitch and planting units are parallel to ground with planter in plant position. Attach safety chain. |
