Aligning Disk Opener

IMPORTANT: On certain frame configurations, some opener locations may be limited.

Fertilizer can be placed from 51 mm to 76 mm (2 in. to 3 in.) to the outside of the row.

To align fertilizer opener to frame tube proceed as follows:

1. Snug U-bolt nuts (A) until opener is square with and touching the bottom of fertilizer tube.

2. Tighten wedge nuts (B) to specification.

Specification

Wedge Nut -Torque 70 N·m (52 lb-ft)

3. Tighten U-bolt nuts to specification.

Specification

U-Bolt -Torque 175 N·m (129 lb-ft)
