Installing Service Locks

12/16 Row Service Lock - Storage Position

24 Row Service Lock - Storage Position

A-Service Lock

causym CAUTION: Lower machine to ground before working on any hydraulic components or welding.

IMPORTANT: Service locks are not to be used as transport locks.

1. Remove service locks (A) from storage position. Wing wheel locks are stored on the outer wings behind the markers. Main frame locks are stored on the warning light mounting brackets.

IMPORTANT: Avoid machine damage. Flat plate on service lock must be on top side against cylinder.

2. Raise machine and install service locks (A) onto both outer main frame wheel cylinders and two outer wing wheel cylinders. Install pin and hair pin to hold in place.

3. When servicing machines with drawbar hitch, either lower drawbar completely or raise drawbar completely and install service lock (A).
