Rotate drive couplers (A) by hand and observe alignment of flat surfaces (C). Drive coupler surfaces must align to within 3 mm (1/8 in.) throughout full rotation. If alignment exceeds 3 mm (1/8 in.), adjust as follows:
1.
Loosen all clamps (B) along entire length of outer shafts and slide short inner-wing shaft to align flat surfaces laterally.
2.
Loosen cap screws (D) to align shafts fore-to-aft. After proper alignment (E) is obtained on surfaces (C), tighten cap screws (D) and clamps (B) on short inner-wing drillshaft.
