Replace Fertilizer Opener Scrapers

   A - Cap Screw and Washer

   B - Scraper Assembly

   Support machine safely. (See procedure at the beginning of this section.)

2. Remove cap screw and washer (A) and scraper assembly (B).

3.

   A - Spacer

   B - Spring

   C - Scrapers

   Remove spacer (A).

4. Note spring (B) mounting hole location on scrapers.

5. Remove spring.

6. Install new scrapers in reverse order of removal.

7. Install spacer (A) exactly as shown.

   A - Cap Screw and Washer

   Position assembled scraper assembly on shank and install cap screw and washer (A). Tighten cap screw to specification.
