Raise and Lower Machine

IMPORTANT: Case drain hose must be connected or damage to machine occurs.

IMPORTANT: Avoid machine damage. Do not place SCV in “Float” position to lower machine. Machine must be powered up and down.

NOTE: Due to the high hydraulic pressure requirements of large machines, the SCV lever used to raise and lower the machine cannot function in the automatic retract or automatic extend position.

Move SCV I rearward to extend lift cylinders and raise machine. Move SCV I forward to retract lift cylinders and lower machine.

After raising or lowering machine, hold SCV lever for approximately 5 seconds to verify machine raises and lowers completely.

Verify that machine is moving forward when raising or lowering in the unfolded position to avoid plugging seed and fertilizer openers.

SCV I must be in forward detent position when lowering machine for planting. CCS fan operates only when SCV I, is in forward detent.

When raising or lowering machine in the folded position, frame and hitch must be activated simultaneously. This allows machine to raise or lower evenly, preventing damage to seed and fertilizer openers.
