Removing Machine from Storage
CAUTION: Be careful when using diesel fuel so that it does not
ignite or serious injury or death to you or others can result. Use
only in well-ventilated areas away from any sparks or flames.
IMPORTANT: Do not allow diesel fuel (or any other petroleum
product) to come in contact with the rubber tubes as it will cause
deterioration.

Remove and install all parts stored inside the box.

Turn feed shafts with a wrench or turn drive wheel to check
that they turn freely. Work shifter back and forth.

Make certain all seed tubes are free of obstructions. Install
all seed tubes.

Install and adjust any chains removed.

Check tires, inflate if necessary.

Lubricate machine. See Lubrication section.

Review the Operating Instructions in this manual and make the
settings necessary for the seed you want to drill.

For row markers, remove lock-up pin.

Follow safe “attaching” steps outlined in the ATTACHING
AND DETACHING section, then remove machine from storage.
