Attaching Machine to Tractor (Without Quick-Coupler)

A - Draft Links

B - Hitch Pins

C - Quick-Lock Pins

D - Center Link

E - Mast Ball

F - Latch Lever

G - Hydraulic Hoses

H - Lift Links

Do not stand between tractor and drill unless tractor transmission is in “PARK”.

  1. Back tractor to machine and align draft links (A) with hitch pins (B).

  2. Turn off engine and set park brake.

  3. Extend draft links (A) and adjust length of lift links (H) to allow installation of hitch pins.

  4. Install hitch pins (B) and secure quick-lock pins (C).

  5. Adjust length of center link (D), fasten to mast ball (E) (mast ball not furnished with machine) and secure latch lever (F).

  6. CAUTION: Escaping hydraulic fluid under pressure can cause bodily injury. Place SCV levers in FLOAT and ensure tractor engine is off.

    If equipped with hydraulic row markers, and or hydraulic down pressure, attach hydraulic hoses (G).

    A - Seven-Pin Harness

    Connect warning lamp harness to seven-pin harness (A).

    A - Parking Stand

    B - Lock Pin

    Raise parking stand (A) by removing lock pin (B).



  9. Raise machine slowly and check for any interferences. Lower machine to ground and make any necessary adjustments.
