Adjusting Double-Disk Outside Scrapers

   A - Scraper

   Use outside scrapers (A) only when necessary to help keep disks clean.

   NOTE: Double-disk openers require a well-prepared loose seed bed. Attachments can be added to increase accuracy of planting depth.

   Adjust scrapers with just enough tension to clean disks. Excessive pressure will increase wear.

2. NOTE: Scrapers are spring loaded and do not require tightening in storage position.

   When not using the scrapers (A), rotate so end (B) slips into slot (C) for storage.
