Setting Fluted-Feed Grain Shifter

  1. NOTE: The seed charts indicate approximate rates. See CHECKING QUANTITIES DRILLED in this section.

    A - Shifter Lever

    Use row spacing rate charts to determine seed index setting for desired seeding rate.


  2. Move shifter lever (A) to an index setting five or more notches lower than the desired setting.

  3. Slowly move lever back to one notch above desired setting; then move lever to desired notch.

    All rates should be verified with field checks.
