Clean cups by moving latch (A) downward off its retaining
teeth. This opens feed gate (B) as wide as possible.
-
Set the latch (A) in one of the following positions:
C—Wheat, oats, barley, rye, flax, rice and similar seeds.
D—Small peas, common beans, soybeans (above 5512 per kilogram
[above 2500 per pound]), and corn.
E—Large peas, soybeans (below 5512 per kilogram [below
2500 per pound]), kidney beans, and lima beans.
-
Set all feed cups identically. Improper setting will cause uneven
drilling, wrong quantities being drilled and crushing of seed.
