Fluted-Feed Seed Charts

1. NOTE: The rates shown in the charts are only to be used as a guide. All rates should be checked in the field. See CHECKING QUANTITIES DRILLED in this section.)

   The charts are based on machines with STANDARD-SPEED drive. For DOUBLE-SPEED drive, the drive will sow at double the rates shown. For HALF-SPEED drive, the machine will sow at one-half the rates shown.

2. Machine row spacing can be changed by using feed stops. See Attachment section.

3. Some seeds such as soybeans and peas vary widely in size. For such seed types, at a given kilogram per hectare (pound per acre) rate, the number of seeds planted per hectare (acre) will vary according to the size of seed.
