Setting Feed Shifter for Machines with Grass Seed Attachment

NOTE: The seed charts indicate approximate rates. Perform in-field checks. See CHECKING QUANTITIES DRILLED in this section.

   A - Wing Nut

   B - Shifter Lever

   C - Edge

   D - Lower Index

   E - Upper Index

   Determine the proper shifter setting from rate charts.

2. IMPORTANT: Align the left-hand edge (C) of the shifter lever (B) with LOWER index (D). Do NOT use upper index (E).

   NOTE: If box is FULL and shifter is on ZERO, turn feed shaft with a wrench while positioning lever.

   Loosen wing nut (A) and move shifter lever (B) one notch HIGHER than the desired setting, then bring lever back to the correct setting, as shown on the LOWER index (D).
