Adjust Gauge Wheels
IMPORTANT: Avoid excessive wheel wear. Do not overtighten gauge
wheel. When assembled, gauge wheels and disk blades must
be free to turn with minimal resistance.

A - Adjusting Wrench
Adjust gauge wheels to prevent buildup of dirt or residue
between gauge wheels and opener blades.
Gauge wheels should just touch blades or be no more than maximum
specification away from blades at their closest point when rotated.

Loosen and hold cap screw with one wrench while turning adjustment
nut with another wrench (A). To move wheel closer to blade, turn nut
counterclockwise. To move wheel away from blade, turn nut clockwise.
Tighten wheel arm cap screw to specification.
