Install Double Eliminator Plate for ProMax 40, Small Sweet Corn, or Edible Bean Disks

A - Rubber Strap

There are two double eliminator plates available. The ProMax 40 and small sweet corn disks use the plate with the characters CORN stamped on the side. The edible bean disk only has the part number stamped on the side.

Install or change double eliminator plate as follows:

  1. Unhook rubber strap (A) and open meter door.

  2. Remove seed disk.

    A - Shoulder Screw

    B - Existing Plate

    Remove shoulder screw (A) and existing plate (B). Save shoulder screw and existing plate for reuse.


  4. NOTE: Edible bean plate is not shipped with machine. Order from your John Deere™ dealer.

    B - Stud

    C - Shoulder Screw

    Position plate (A) over stud (B).


  5. IMPORTANT: Make sure that shoulder screw is fully tightened against housing.

    Install shoulder screw (C). Tighten shoulder screw to specification.
