Inspect and Clean Vacuum Impeller and Housing

1. IMPORTANT: Use precautions as recommended by chemical manufacturers when handling parts coated with seed treatments. Use proper skin, eye, and respiratory protection.

   Remove cap screws (A).

   A - Hose Clamps

   B - Cap Screws

   C - Cover

   Remove hose clamps (A), cap screws (B), and cover (C) from vacuum fan.

3.

   A - Impeller

   B - Housing

   Clean impeller and housing.

4. Inspect impeller (A) for chips or cracks. Replace impeller if damage is found. See your John Deere™ dealer.

5. Inspect vacuum fan housing (B) for signs of impeller contact. Replace vacuum fan housing and impeller if contact is evident. See your John Deere™ dealer.

6. Install parts in reverse order.
