Operating CCS System When Planting Sorghum and Small Popcorn

  1. IMPORTANT: Remove nozzle inserts (A) before switching to crop with larger seed. Larger seed will not come out of tanks with nozzle inserts installed. Tanks will then have to be drained, nozzle inserts removed, and refilled.

    NOTE: Nozzle is recommended for sorghum.

    NOTE: Cotton seeds that are especially small in size can require nozzle inserts and discharge elbows.

    A - Nozzle Inserts (A73214)

    B - Elbow (A75164)

    C - Elbow (Sorghum) (A75165)

    Install nozzle inserts (A) over all nozzles prior to filling tank.


  2. NOTE: Changing elbows is optional for small popcorn.

    Remove elbow (B) with small holes from mini hoppers.

  3. Install elbow (C) with slotted holes in mini hoppers.
