The marker breakaway bolt (A) provides breakaway protection when the marker hits an obstacle.

To replace the breakaway bolt, proceed as follows:

  1. Leave marker arm lowered.

  2. Insert new breakaway bolt (A) on outer marker arm. Extra breakaway bolts (B) are located inside marker arm.

  3. Swing marker arm closed.

  4. Tighten first nut on breakaway bolt and use second nut (C) as jam nut.
