Calculating Implement Codes

To find the machine implement code, start with the basic machine code and add the code for each additional equipment item over the basic machine code. Attachment such as the cast closing wheels are the difference for that attachment over the basic equipment.

Next determine the tractor front ballast requirements by using the same machine code and the chart for TRACTOR FRONT BALLAST CODES. The tractor codes are listed in the tractor operator's manual under “Front Weights”.
