A - Storage Position

IMPORTANT: Pin 2 (F) must be in wing lock position (B) when planting in flex or partial flex mode.

NOTE: Follow procedure on both sides of machine.

1. Place Pin 1 (E) in storage position (A).

2. IMPORTANT: Shaft couplers or transmission cotter pin will fail if arm moves up.

   Place Pin 2 (F) in wing lock position (B) to lock arm down when planting.

3. Place Pin 3 (G) in storage position (C).

4. NOTE: Wing wheels are not used to drive planting units while in flex mode.

   Adjust drill shaft and countershaft. See COUPLER ADJUSTMENTS FOR FLEX AND RIGID OPERATION in this section.

Rigid Operation

1. NOTE: Follow procedure on both sides of machine.

   Place Pin 1 (E) in locking position (A).

2. Place Pin 2 (F) in storage position (B).

3. IMPORTANT: Shaft couplers or transmission cotter pin will fail if fold joint moves.

   Place Pin 3 (G) in locking position (C).

4. NOTE: When frame is rigid, all wheels must drive planting units.

   Adjust drill shaft and countershaft. See COUPLER ADJUSTMENTS FOR FLEX AND RIGID OPERATION in this section.
